ABOUT

I originally trained in Graphic Design and Illustration at college before progressing onto University where I studied a HND in Advertising at Doncaster College, whilst there I won regional press awards and a D&AD yellow pencil in the first ever D&AD Student Awards. I graduated University with a distinction and went straight into working within an advertising agency in London as an Art Director.

After a couple of years I broke away from the advertising agency work to pursue a career in television. I worked numerous free or expenses only jobs to get the contacts and experience within the industry and within 3 months I got my first paid job as Art Department runner on The 11 O'Clock show for Channel 4. My daily duties involved making props, being on set and other general art department duties and over time I worked my way up to being able to Art Direct the series until the end of its run.

I now have over 20 years experience as a freelancer  working within the television industry, and over that time I have art directed and designed numerous high profile main stream TV shows, award ceremonies and press launches.

I am highly motivated and driven to achieve the best design for any project I am asked to undertake. I love to collaborate with others, feel comfortable leading a team or working on my own.
